Data privacy is more than just compliance

What sets us apart

2) We Cost Less and Deliver More

Our costs are lower than a typical consulting firm, but that doesn't mean the quality is any less. We pride ourselves on our expertise, attention to detail, work ethic, and personal touch. On average, our engagements cost 50% less than a large (think Big 4) consulting firm for the same level of expertise and service*. We support fixed price, milestone, and time & material (hourly) billing engagements.

1) Customized Solutions

We meet you where you're at in your data privacy journey: any budget, level of maturity, or size. We've worked with Fortune 500s, local nonprofits, public and private organizations across industries.

We don't believe there is one framework or privacy solution that fits every organization. In fact, we know that the more custom your solution can be, the more sustainable it is. While we borrow from industry standards and best practices (NIST, ISO, SOC2, HITRUST, etc.), we never use a one-size-fits-all approach with our clients.

3) We Offer Unique Expertise

There aren't many accountants-turned-auditors-turned privacy experts out there, which makes us unique!

Privacy & Consulting: One of our founders, Jared, has been an instructor in the privacy space for over six years at University of California-Berkeley after receiving a Masters in Data Science from their MIDS program. After working as a consultant for two years in data science, he started a privacy program at a previous consulting firm when GDPR was still in its infancy and managed it for over two years.

Both of our founders are members of International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and have certifications in the privacy space. They stay current on emerging regulations and have connections to both legal and regulatory contacts to stay ahead of trending best practices.

Auditing: Both of our founders have extensive experience in risk management, compliance, and internal auditing in the financial, technology, manufacturing, consulting, and healthcare industries. They bring extensive knowledge of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards and internal controls. They'll also talk to you about how privacy and SOx are more alike than they are different, but only if you ask. We promise.

Addressing privacy risk offers a more holistic, sustainable approach than just addressing privacy compliance.
